The Hocking Hills Welcome Center Can Help You

When you have the dates you want to journey to the Hocking Hills, go to the website for the Hocking Hills Regional Welcome Center at www.explorehockinghills.com and go to "Lodging" and "Availability Search".

Put in the dates that you are interested in and the type of accommodation and amenities you desire and you will get a listing of cabins to look at. Click on their website to get additional information and call the owner directly to make a reservation.

Many people look at the 100's of choices for lodging and get overwhelmed. I have solved that dilemma by writing a report that has my top ten favorite choices for lodgings in the Hocking Hills. Get the details here.

When you arrive at the Hocking Hills make the Welcome Center your first stop. They have a restaurant display that has all the menus of the various restaurants in the area. It is updated on a regular basis, so if you want to go out to eat while you are in the area, stop in and get some ideas.

The Welcome Center is located at the intersection of State Route 33 and State Route 664. It is just eleven miles from Old Man’s Cave State Park. The Welcome Center also distributes The Hocking Hills Visitors Guides. You will find most of the cabin owners have advertisements in the guide. After hours you can pick one up in the outdoor gazebo.

If you call 1-800-HOCKING you can leave a message and have a visitor’s guide sent to you or you can request a visitor’s guide on the internet at www.explorehockinghills.com. Be aware that they are sent out bulk rate mail and will arrive in approximately ten business days.

While you are there you can stop at The Pencil Sharpener Museum. Look at my July 31, 2013 post for all the details about this very unique place.
